I found this recipe on PBFingers, and with a couple adjustments I'm in mocha heaven!
I love making this protein smoothie after an intense weight lifting workout. It feeds my tired muscles and gives me a pep in my step!
Mocha Protein Smoothie
- 1/2 cup ice
- 2 handfuls baby spinach
- 1 small banana
- 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or just enough to get everything moving)
- 1 tsp unsweetend cocoa powder
- 1 packet instant coffee granules
Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth. (No chunks allowed here)
